Spring is coming/get your garden ready!

We are for the first time, planting a small garden for our two familes to share.

I have been doing alot of research in prepreation and thought I would share with you how to start getting ready to plan your garden.

First is to go and get seeds. This is not the time to be too frugal, you want quality seeds. Next go buy seed starter planters and pick up seed startng potting soil. This soil has added nutrients to help the seeds grow.

As soon as you start seeing the plant grow, make sure to remove the plastic lid, this is important, as if you miss this step, your seeds will mold.

This month start with your colder weather vegetables, peas, radishs, leaf lettuce. If you decide to start your seeds in the ground, remember to cover them overnight. An old cotton sheet is great for this.

I will keep offering tips throughout our learning experience, so make sure you keep checking back in.
